Overview
An exceptional, powerful, and unique voice that unfolds on stage with a breadth and magnetism received like a gift. Winner of the Victoire du Jazz 2024 (vocal artist), Sandra Nkaké stands out with her deep timbre, magnetic presence, and uncompromising artistic commitment. A soul diva! In this concert, a tribute to female singers and composers, she revisits songs of freedom and emancipation that have inspired her life as a woman and musician: from Joni Mitchell to Jeanne Added, via Björk, Nina Simone, Tracy Chapman, Emily Loizeau, and Kate Bush… A quasi-acoustic concert, driven by the groove of commitment. Vocals, Guitar, Stick: Sandra Nkaké Flute, Vocals: Jî Drû Cello, Vocals: Paul Colomb
