Overview
A band that has never mastered its art so well..."this is how the magazine Rock Hard described « Reliance », the new album by SOEN, released in January 2026.With this seventh studio album…
With this seventh studio album, the Swedish band continues its incredible journey between light and darkness, noise and calm, upheaval and serenity.
In their fluid progression across a deeply human emotional terrain, Joel Ekelöf (vocals) and Martin Lopez (drums), two experts of prog metal, continue their exploration of the mind, heart and soul of humanity, with a visionary approach, touched with an even heavier edge.
Joined by Lars Enok Åhlund (keyboards and guitar), Cody Lee Ford (guitar) and the returning Stefan Stenberg on bass, they push SOEN's lush artistic evolution even further, with a sound that takes on the feel of take-off.
On record as on stage, the heavy passages stand in sharp contrast with magnificent melodies, all punctuated at times by provocative and powerful roars. This French tour promises to be a thrilling organic and vibrant sensory journey.
