Sombre et Lumière, a group exhibition running from 13 October to 7 November. When the days grow shorter, something shifts. Light becomes scarcer, shadows lengthen, and we finally allow ourselves to look at what we usually keep in a corner.

The end of October, when light grows scarce and shadow gains ground, marks the moment when we allow ourselves to be a little darker, a little stranger, a little more different.

With Sombre et Lumière, Galerie Morphose invites you to pass through this season in the company of three artists: Rackdamn Art and his drawings in black PanPastel, Cordiforme, poet of patched-up hearts, and Cyril Maisonnave, who knits the memory of objects.

Each explores in their own way the dialogue between shadow and light: the fantastical and the imaginary, effacement and poetic reflection on ourselves, introspection and the emotions we do not always dare to name. Here, darkness is not a threat.

It is a territory to be tamed, sometimes even a refuge, and it is in the contrast it creates that light takes on its full meaning. From black PanPastel to knitted threads, by way of embroidery and words, these three very different worlds answer and complete one another.

They remind us that our fragilities, fears and melancholies can become material for creation, and that chiaroscuro is also part of beauty.

The exhibition unfolds as we approach the solstice turning point, a parenthesis in which to let yourself be surprised, feel and look differently.

True to its philosophy of art for everyone, Galerie Morphose welcomes you to share these sensibilities, whether you come in search of a thrill, tenderness or simply curiosity. On the programme: Do not miss the private view on 15 October from 6pm, in the presence of the artists.
