Stephan Eicher - Poussière d’Or Tour

"I can't help myself. The blank page doesn't scare me. A piano stool is often the only place where the world stops being too noisy, too complicated. A guitar resting on my knees helps when everything becomes too fast, too heavy.

So harmonies emerge, melodies set to texts by my writer friends Philippe Djian and Martin Suter. And then I play these musical seeds for other friends. They start playing with me, push me to record them, and other musicians join in, other hands too.

And suddenly, these songs come to life.

They become an album, and find their title: Poussière d'Or… The time has come to share them - like a still-warm loaf of bread placed in the middle of a table, there where I have always dreamed of hearing them resonate: the Olympia in Paris, the Cirque Royal in Brussels, the Volkshaus in Zurich.

Places that guided me, nourished me, shaped me. Stephan Eicher"
