Tamara Payne - Ringarde

Presented by Spotlight L-R-2020-004472/009234, Tamara Payne, a multifaceted artist from Charleroi and a well-known face thanks in particular to the programme "Le Grand Cactus", bursts onto the stage with a show as improbable as it is impossible to categorise.

A "ringard" show, fully embraced yet explosive, unapologetic and surprisingly innovative. In this wildly fragmented and delightfully eclectic creation, Tamara blends stand-up, theatre, mime, singing, impressions, absurdities, moments of pure tenderness and bursts of madness.

We move from frank laughter to sincere emotion, from a choreographic catastrophe to a touching confession, from a reworked biblical delirium to an intimate reflection that surprises with its depth. This show is a world where everything tangles together: grandiose clumsiness, ferocious self-mockery, bittersweet nostalgia, Carolo madness, traumas turned into jokes, falls that become triumphs, and ringardise turned into an artistic weapon.

Tamara Payne does not merely tell a story. She catapults us inside her own: explosive, funny, sensitive, baroque, dishevelled... yet always terribly human.
