Tambouille & Cocotte

Puppetry, mime and magic from the Cie L’Atelier Flottant, devised and performed by Céline Roucher, with set design by Fabien Proyart, for ages 2 and up.

A vintage interlude without words but with music, where laughter and magic awaken the appetite and the taste buds: the chef Cocotte faces a series of perilous situations in which nothing goes as planned!

“In this show without babbling or chatter, the audience watches the recipe of the day being concocted by Cocotte, a funny clown who fidgets, sometimes silly and almost a dope.

” The sense of wonder and poetry runs through the show: the magic tricks and various appearances tease the audience’s curiosity.

Sound effects and music throughout, the original soundtrack accompanies the actress and her puppet in the manner of a silent film, a nod to the films of Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton and Laurel and Hardy.
