Nasty business…
Mayor Mitchel doesn't have a cat, but his son Mike is accused of murder.
And although he is as clever as a bison, all the evidence weighs against him. Defended by the family's crooked lawyer, will he get away with it in the face of the repeated assaults of Douglas and Carrie, two incorruptible cops determined to bring him down?
Chaos theory says that a butterfly flapping its wings in Sicily can set off a storm in Kansas. The four protagonists are going to experience it, trapped in a time loop with the feel of a delirious storm.
It was not the day to give up arabica…
