Un moment suspendu

Invented by a Dutch primary school teacher at the beginning of the 20th century, this team sport is distinctive in that it is mixed and has each player take part in both attack and defence.

By chance of encounters, three young adults searching for themselves are going to join it, though without really believing in it.

Coming from different backgrounds, the members of the small team gradually get to know one another, get used to each other and help each other, before passing on to others the benefits of this sporting practice.

With a community centre hall as its main set, Un moment suspendu makes us laugh, travel and reflect. The monologue expressing each person's isolation gives way to a choral score. A troupe is indeed being born before our eyes.
