Vernissage Tactikollectif / DJ-Set KBira @Kazokoo

What if we listened to the women who sang about exile? 🎶 From 15 October to 18 November, the Kazokoo community hub is hosting the exhibition "Les Femmes connaissent la chanson".

Too often invisible in the history of immigration, these artists nevertheless carried the pain of exile and the joys of everyday life from the 1950s onwards, on both sides of the Mediterranean. From mere performers to committed spokeswomen, they transformed our musical heritage.

🥂 Opening night on 15 October at 18:30: Come and discover the exhibition panels, chat with us and celebrate this legacy! It belongs to all of us. Come and rediscover it.

And after the guided tour, we dance: We will be welcoming DJ KBira, founding artist of the Montpellier-based collective MEKTOUB 🔥 An evening in partnership with Tactikollectif, as part of the Origines Contrôlées festival ❤️ 🎫 Booking essential via Shotgun 👉Pay-what-you-decide donation on site 📅 PRACTICAL INFO 📍 Address: Kazokoo - 7 rue Louis Courtois de Viçose, Bâtiment 11, Toulouse 🕓 Opening hours: 18:00 - 22:00 💸 Pay-what-you-decide donation 🚲 Access: L4 / L5 / 152 / 13 • VélôToulouse nearby · Please use green transport!
