Programme:

A naturalist and educational approach during the hike

Issues around species conservation

Observations and an introduction to tracking, to recognise the signs of animal presence

Picnic (not included) at the priory

Discovery and guided tour of the exhibition

Hike difficulty: level 3/5

Stony Provençal paths, sometimes slightly slippery

Moderate elevation, a few steep slopes

One potentially more difficult section, which I will guide you through (the shepherd's step)

What is included

Supervision by a Mountain Guide and wildlife photographer

What is not included

Return transport to the start of the hike. The starting point is accessible by bus!

The picnic

What to bring:

• A day hiking backpack (20-30 L)
• At least 1 L of water per person
• Mountain shoes with lugged soles or, failing that, a pair of trainers
• Comfortable clothing suitable for walking
• A waterproof jacket / light windproof (such as Gore-Tex or a kway)
• Your picnic
• Your medical treatment, if you have any.

The route may be changed depending on weather conditions or the physical fitness of the participants. Ultimately, the guide remains the sole judge of the programme, which he may adapt to the various constraints.
