Overview
Anti-globalisation and borderless. Activists and apolitical. Ecologists and parasites of French song, whose codes they shake up with their colourful guitars and melodies from the far side of the world, the Zoufris Maracas refuse to fit into any boxes!
Faithful to their thirst for freedom and close to today's concerns, they succeed better than ever in marrying poetic lyrics, social commitment and musical journeys.
Often compared to La Mano Negra or Négresse Vertes, the group has established itself over 4 albums and more than 700 concerts as a benchmark of the French alternative scene.
Their strength lies in their music, their lyrics, word of mouth and a furious urge to dance to serious subjects.
