Bertrand Giraud Bertrand Giraud, winner of international competitions, is a renowned pianist who performs as a soloist, in recital and with orchestra in the world's greatest halls.
He is also a highly sought-after chamber music partner, as well as jury member and artistic director of numerous musical events.
Graduate of the National Superior Conservatories of Paris and Geneva with the highest distinctions in piano and chamber music, he completed his training through masterclasses with prestigious musicians such as András Schiff, Bruno Canino and Paul Serkin, and was influenced by artistic encounters with personalities such as Christian Zerah and Aldo Ciccolini.
His varied background and experience with international orchestras such as the philharmonics of Lodz, Lublin, and Teplice, as well as his work with musicians such as Pierre Amoyal and Sophie Koch, testify to his versatility.
He is also active in contemporary musical creation, having recently collaborated with the Monticelli Quartet and Frédéric Chatoux on the creation of Al ver mis horas de fiebre by Martin Kutnowski.
Parallel to his career as a concert artist, he holds the position of piano professor at the CRD du Raincy for several years and gives masterclasses in renowned institutions such as the University of Music of Pristina, the Higher Conservatory of Lebanon and Yonsei University of Seoul.
Over the years, Bertrand Giraud has recorded 25 CDs for labels such as Anima-records, Erol and Maguelone, where he explores a repertoire ranging from classical to lesser-known works, including world premieres.
