ALISON'S HALO (10:00 PM) (Shoegaze - Phoenix, US) Alison's Halo formed in Tempe, Arizona, in the autumn of 1992, around Catherine Cooper (vocals, guitar), Adam Cooper (guitar), David Roger (bass, vocals), and Roger Brogan (drums, percussion).
Just a few months after their creation, the band established themselves on the local scene and quickly secured gigs alongside nationally renowned artists such as The Verve, Ultra Vivid Scene, Curve, The Boo Radleys, Stereophonics, Medicine, Lovesliescrushing, Bailter Space, and many others.
The band was also invited to perform at numerous festivals across the United States. In 1995, the single *Dozen / Calendar* was released on the legendary label Independent Project Records.
It received stellar national reviews and enjoyed significant airplay on college radio stations.
Their captivating blend of shimmering and distorted guitars, paired with Catherine Cooper's striking melodies, quickly attracted a wide audience and allowed the band to embark on a successful nationwide tour.
Their debut album, *Eyedazzler*, was recorded between 1992 and 1996 on various 2, 4, and 8-track cassette Porta Studio recorders, before being released in 1998 by Detroit's Burnt Hair Records.
This remarkable collection of songs has steadily grown in popularity since its release and is now considered one of the major shoegaze and dream-pop albums, among the most iconic of the golden age of both genres. v=a35AFcSlQOI More of the lineup coming very soon! fr ————
