Munich-based duo: 7-string guitar and pandeiro. Choro, samba and Brazilian jazz: original compositions and arrangements by Pixinguinha and Baden Powell. Acoustic, without drums.
Caiana Duo is Abdallah Harati (7-string guitar) and João Araújo (pandeiro), two musicians based in Munich. They play choro, samba and Brazilian jazz: original compositions and arrangements by Pixinguinha, João Pernambuco, Villa-Lobos and Baden Powell.
The duo has performed at the Festival International de Choro de Munich (2023-2025) and at the Seidlvilla (March 2026), and regularly leads choro workshops. An acoustic concert, without drums, between tradition and improvisation.
