Benjamin Valière

Benjamin Valière explores the hidden meaning of childhood songs. "Une souris verte", "Le bon roi Dagobert", "Il était une bergère"... these are songs inextricably linked to childhood that we all know. But what do their lyrics really mean? And what if I told you that many of them carry a hidden double meaning? Don't you suddenly want to know what the character in "Au clair de la lune" went to do at his neighbour's house? Or why "nous n’irons plus au bois"? And I am only talking about the most politically correct songs here, as some do not hesitate to evoke rape, death, torture, cannibalism and other such delights. We are therefore going to interpret 7 songs together, among the best-known of the children's repertoire, which we will pick apart. Do you expect to be surprised? Trust me, you will be even more so. For sure, I am going to ruin your childhood. But I promise, you are going to love it!
