Overview
An evening of neofolk and ambient with Blood And Sun, Society Of The Silver Cross, and Linnea Hjertén at Le Klub!
Aucune Petite Musique Ne Nuit Twelfth session
Formed in 2011, Blood And Sun is a dark folk project led by Luke Tromiczak, who writes the lyrics and music. For recordings and concerts, he is supported by musicians from various parts of the United States. From the very beginning, the band gained international recognition thanks to its songwriting sensibility and personal themes blended with pagan or metaphysical reflections, where heroism and tragedy happily sit side by side. A sure bet in a declining scene, the band stands out with concerts of unique intensity. For this new Paris date, Blood And Sun will celebrate the release of their third studio album, Aion’s Light, and will be embodied on stage by Luke Tromiczak accompanied by Erik Wivinus, Liliian Liu, and Sawyer Gebauer. This tour is also the perfect opportunity to discover Temple Hymns Volume Two, an EP marking the collaboration between Blood And Sun and Society Of The Silver Cross.
A Seattle-based duo, Society Of The Silver Cross plays in a dark style, at times lingering, at times grandiloquent, drawing influences from both American folk music and traditional Indian music. Released in 2024, their album Festival Of Invocation received an enthusiastic welcome from the specialized music press. This marks the duo's first European tour, and thus their first Paris date.
A Swedish musician working at the crossroads of Scandinavian folk and ritual ambient music, Linnea Hjertén possesses a unique sonic identity conducive to escaping into new states of consciousness. This blend of folk melodies, invocations, and minimalist sounds does not deny the influence of Dead Can Dance while demonstrating a strong personality in her approach to musical creation. We will thus have the pleasure of welcoming her for her first Paris date.
