Blowsom

Arnaud Bernard, aka BLOWSOM, was raised on the Beatles, which he played on repeat with his family in the car. From the age of 8 he tuned his first guitar, but his teacher ended up behind bars, so Arnaud ended up teaching himself everything.

His passion became tangible at 18, when he decided to go and study music in Brighton, England, to follow in the footsteps of a band he adored, the Kooks. There, at the same time as he discovered MAO software (computer-assisted music), Arnaud became BLOWSOM. Back then, it all happened on SoundCloud, where he shared his music, surprisingly geared towards electronic sounds.

Despite interest from the media and a few labels, he naturally returned to a more pop style, tinged with rock, like the bands he is a fan of. On his return to France, Blowsom revealed himself on a first long-format release, "OK Romance!", a collection of tracks in English. It earned critical respect, and he developed a taste for the exercise, and very quickly the need to reconnect with his mother tongue became clear. He then discovered a new breath in French, and his songs, which he began releasing in 2025, took on an entirely different dimension, exemplified by his track "Les Passantes", which quickly reached one million streams.

Now fully independent, Blowsom writes, produces and mixes alone. Without a booking agent, he announced a Paris date at the Point Éphémère, which sold out in 24 hours. Buoyed by the enthusiasm of his community, he decided to aim bigger and announced a concert at La Cigale, his biggest venue to date. He is also going out to meet his audience with a first mini tour in Lyon, Lille and Brussels.
