Overview
Cherry Origins night, first edition titled The First Chapter, bringing together French and American rap, R&B and afro at Rexy, a concert hall on rue de la Grande Truanderie in Paris.
Cherry Origins is a night organised under the name Cherry, and this edition is titled The First Chapter. It brings together French and American rap, R&B and afro, and the line-up features Shattah, DJ Bigslo and DJ Tomio. The venue is Rexy, a concert and performance hall in Paris's 1st arrondissement.
The concept combines music, fashion, image and culture, the night being designed as an ephemeral magazine. A photographer is on hand to capture the faces, outfits and moments of the night; a selection of these images is to feed the first issue of CHERRY MAGAZINE, published in digital and print editions.
Cherry is teaming up with BLUMEX for this edition, and BLUMEX T-shirts are to be won during the evening. The announced dress code is black and red.
