The Pierre Marcus trio offers a moment of lively and complicit jazz, blending original compositions and a few revisited standards. Long-time friends, the three musicians share genuine musical complicity, made of listening, exchange, and inspired improvisation.
Pierre Marcus is a double bassist and composer active on the French jazz scene. He plays as sideman in numerous projects and develops his own groups in parallel.
He is leader of several albums ("Longue Attente," "Pyrodance," "Following the Right Way," "Second Life"), centered on his compositions with a modern approach to jazz. He also held a residency for 7 years at 38Riv, where he regularly played and invited many musicians.
