Jazz fusion — Danny Janklow and Raynald Colom Quintet unite their talents for a unique musical adventure, combining traditional jazz, flamenco improvisation and cosmic grooves.
This tour represents a rare meeting between two musical universes: Janklow's jazz heritage, between Los Angeles and Philadelphia, joins Colom's creative haven, between Barcelona and Madrid.
Together, they explore the spaces between traditional jazz, improvisation steeped in flamenco and grooves with cosmic sonorities, creating music that pays homage to tradition while venturing into unexplored territory.
The repertoire is based on the acclaimed discographies of both artists: Balance // Eternal Realm by Janklow (recipient of the South Arts Jazz Road Touring Grant) and Colom's latest masterpiece, Constellations (distinguished by a CHOC Jazz Magazine award), as well as new collaborative compositions developed specifically for this tour.
