Eddy de Pretto

Eddy de Pretto presents his compositions with rap and French chanson influences during a concert at Palais Nikaïa.

Eddy de Pretto first came to prominence in 2018 with his debut album Cure, leaving a lasting impression with a style that blends singing, rap, and unflinching lyricism. His lyrics tackle themes of masculinity, intimacy, and social realities in a direct manner, following in the tradition of classic French chanson while adopting hip-hop and pop-driven production.

On stage, the artist generally performs accompanied by a tight-knit backing band, placing the emphasis on vocal power and lyrical precision. The set revolves around tracks from his various records, oscillating between intimate piano moments and more upbeat sequences. This setup allows for a direct connection with the audience, driven by a stripped-back staging.

This evening is aimed at fans of punchy lyrics and contemporary pop melodies. The Palais Nikaïa hosts this stop on the tour, providing a venue well-suited to the expansive arrangements of this repertoire.
