Elephanz

ELEPHANZ is a French band formed in Nantes in 2008 by brothers Maxime and Jonathan Verleysen, raised on the sounds of the 60s, who love folk songwriting, the pop format and the hits that made music history. The duo's songs are small musical gems with powerful melodic lines.

The brothers' voices harmonise, answer each other or collide in a polished, controlled synth-pop concert. Their track "Maryland" is certified platinum single with more than 30 million streams.

Fifteen years after the first album "Time for a change", and drawing on the experience of two further records ("Elephanz" in 2017 and "Rien de personnel" in 2023), ELEPHANZ returns today with a fourth album that evokes first loves, the kind you sing with a heartfelt cry, hands clasped around a guitar.

This new album tells, across ten songs, a return to oneself, like coming home after years of roaming the world, only to realise that everything needed to know oneself was already on the starting line.
