Based on Esio Trot by ROALD DAHL

Eutrot ("Tortoise" spelt backwards) is the story of a very shy man, a very kind woman and a little tortoise called Alf. An amateur florist, Mr Toupie falls head over heels for his neighbour, Mrs Sylvestre, who lives only for her tortoise Alf and wishes Alf would grow up quickly. Mr Toupie, for his part, would like to invite his neighbour round for tea, but he never quite manages to take the plunge. Could Alf, the little tortoise with a passion for salad, be the key to the door that opens onto Mrs Sylvestre's heart?

Mr Toupie will try every means at his disposal, sometimes absurd and sometimes "magical", to help Mrs Sylvestre, and the two characters come together around a shared project: making Alf grow. But what a project! Songs, flowers, magic spells, a tortoise trap and a hundred tortoises... would they be enough for a happy ending?
