64 Swiss flautist Eva Oertle performs throughout Europe as a soloist and chamber musician. She plays with internationally renowned orchestras such as Il Giardino Armonico and Al Ayre Español.
She gives recitals in major concert halls such as the Salle Gaveau in Paris, the Gewandhaus in Leipzig, and the Musikverein in Vienna.
She has performed as a soloist with the Brandenburgischem Streichorchester, the Davos Festival Orchestra, and the Festival Strings Lucerne, and has undertaken concert tours in Germany, Italy, Spain, and South America.
Her CDs "Undine" and "Lake Reflections", released on the Sony Classical label, have been highly praised by the music press. Eva Oertle studied modern flute at the Musikhochschulen in Freiburg and Basel with Janek Rosset, Felix Renggli, and Peter Lukas Graf.
Her interest in historical performance practice then led her to the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis and then to London with Rachel Brown. Eva Oertle is also a moderator and music editor for Swiss Radio SRF2.
Pianist Vesselin Stanev, originally from Varna (Bulgaria), trained at the Sofia Music Academy and then with Dmitri Bashkirov at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, Alexis Weissenberg, and the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique de Paris.
He received additional guidance from Peter Feuchtwanger in London. He was a laureate of the Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow and the Marguerite Long – Jacques Thibaud Competition.
