Overview
Johanna and Henri, geneticists, fall in love. The child they long for with all their might does not come. They then decide to create one from scratch, whatever the cost. Gabriell comes into the world, grows up.
Removed from an overprotective family bubble, the child is kidnapped by her nanny and “thrown into the world”. She then sets off in search of her parents, on an initiatory journey where she will encounter the demons and saints of our present.
Based on the encounter between a scientist and the Devil, the BAJOUR collective revisits the Faustian myth, retaining the quest for truth, the exploration of the world and hell, Walpurgis Night and the theatrical celebration it offers.
Fueled by an intensely developed script, this collective's creations deliver raw, emotionally powerful theatre.
