Jazz — Hans Luchs, New York-based guitarist and composer, invites you to discover his unique universe through original compositions blending tradition and modernity.

Hans Luchs is a guitarist, composer and jazz conductor based in New York. Originally from Chicago, he has performed on prestigious stages in the United States and internationally. His journey has taken him from emblematic jazz clubs to major festivals and concert halls.

He has collaborated with renowned artists such as Pepe Aguilar, Martha Reeves and Shirley King. As a leader, he distinguished himself with albums praised by specialized critics.

His latest opus, "The Spell is Broken" (2025), highlights eight original compositions blending different colors and influences of contemporary jazz. The album made it into jazz reference rankings and was well received by the public.

A musician recognized for his versatility and sense of improvisation, Hans develops an approach that is both modern and deeply rooted in the jazz tradition. He also leads significant teaching activities within the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music.

His musical universe combines creativity, virtuosity and openness to different musical cultures.
