HDR-Project Trio is the trio of bassist and double bassist Hervé de Ratuld (Ronny Jordan, Cerrone, Tcheky Kario, Azarine trio, Toumast, Ousmane Touré), of Polish and Ukrainian origin, great-great-nephew of Rimsky Korsakov, he started piano at age 7 before discovering bass and double bass at 12 years old.
World musician ranging from jazz to African music to electro or funk, he brings together here the trumpeter Nicolas Genest (Manu Dibango, Alpha Blondy, Jimmy Cliff, Arthur H) and pianist Ian Aledji (Éric Truffaz, Jane Birkin, Étienne Daho).
His project, made of his original compositions is a modal jazz, airy, sensitive, melodic and cinematic with an electro touch that transports and makes travel. Hdr-Project releases its trio album with Nicolas and Ian in September 2026.
