Indie duo Hovvdy returns to Paris on 27 August for an intimate date at PopUp! Hovvdy, duo formed in Austin, Texas, is composed of multi-instrumentalists Charlie Martin and Will Taylor, whose budding friendship during jamming sessions led to creating a distinctive sound.

It was in 2014 that the duo entered the musical arena, garnering growing attention with their debut album "Taster" in 2016, followed by "Cranberry" in 2018, two works brimming with lo-fi atmosphere and introspective melodies.

Each subsequent release has established itself as a natural extension of the previous, progressively enriching their universe with new textures and emotions.

Faithful to this constant evolution, the duo is now ready to open a new chapter with their next album release, scheduled for 14 August. Characterized by introspective lyrical writing and melancholic melodies, Hovvdy's sound is often described as "slowcore".

Their music, though rooted in indie rock, flirts with folk and pop elements, creating a soft and dreamy atmosphere.
