Kuleeangee

Born in the queue outside the famous queer nightclub Dalston Superstore, KuleeAngee is the result of a tequila-fuelled encounter between Keshav Kanabar, from Glasgow, and Duncan Grant, from Edinburgh.

The two men had already crossed paths through mutual friends before ending up in the same band as session musicians, with a gig scheduled for the very day the UK went into lockdown.

By that point they were already good friends, but it took that fateful night in town for them to join creative forces.

Within a few weeks of writing together, these kindred spirits gave birth to "Television" – a single from their superb 2025 debut EP, "Is It Awryt" – a sensual, biting track evoking a collective restlessness exacerbated by our addiction to social media.

This EP propelled them into must-hear territory, earning them massive support from Sian Eleri on BBC Radio 1, Huw Stephens, Deb Grant, Craig Charles and Nick Grimshaw on BBC 6 Music, as well as a feature on Radio X's "X-Posure Hot One" and John Kennedy and Stephanie Cheape's show on BBC Intro Scotland.

They have also been supported by Apple Music's "New In Alternative" and Spotify's "Fresh Finds", and have been featured in The Scotsman, Dork and DIY, as well as appearing in NME's 100 list for 2026.
