Since early July, our first support outings have begun. Volunteers accompany seniors on local outings, on foot or using public transport, to help them stay mobile, independent and, above all… surrounded.

Nantes en Compagnie aims to:

• promote mobility and independence for seniors
• combat isolation and foster social bonds
• encourage civic engagement
• create new intergenerational solidarity

To make volunteering as easy as possible, a mobile app 📱 has been launched: volunteers can view proposed outings and choose their mission according to the day, type of outing or location. Before their first outing, every volunteer is naturally trained and met by the team.

En Guinguette avec Huguette is a chance to spend a warm, friendly time discovering the project, meeting the people who make it happen and, why not, joining the adventure 💚

This event is free and open to all. If you have mobility difficulties and would like to be accompanied and make use of the Nantes en Compagnie service, you can call 0259450644, helpline open Monday to Friday from 14:00 to 17:00.
