Hyd

Hyd, an enigmatic figure on the electronic scene, will perform at Hasard Ludique. Expect a captivating sonic experience, blending delicate textures and vocal explorations.

Hyd, aka Hayden Dunham, is a singular and multidisciplinary figure known for her forays into contemporary art and music. Initially associated with the PC Music collective under the name QT, she later evolved towards a more introspective personal project, exploring themes of transformation and identity through ethereal electronic compositions. Her work is often characterised by meticulous production, atmospheric synthesisers and a processed voice that hovers between vulnerability and power, creating soundscapes that are both intimate and expansive.

Her musical journey is marked by notable collaborations and a keen sense of experimentation. After the QT adventure, Hyd forged a distinctive sonic identity, setting herself apart with a more personal and often melancholic approach. Her tracks unfold like fragmented narratives, where every sound and every word seems to carry a particular weight of meaning. She is an artist who does not shy away from probing the depths of human emotion, translating complex states of mind into sophisticated electronic compositions. Her style, though rooted in electronic music, draws on varied influences, ranging from ambient to experimental pop, creating a sound world that is both unique and recognisable.

On stage, Hyd is renowned for creating an immersive atmosphere. Her performances are often described as sensory journeys, in which the music takes on an almost visual dimension. Audiences can expect a nuanced interpretation of her songs, with delicate arrangements and complex sonic textures brought to the fore. This Paris stop at Hasard Ludique offers a valuable opportunity to discover, or rediscover, an artist whose musical proposition is both contemporary and deeply personal. It is a chance to appreciate the richness of her universe in a setting conducive to listening and discovery.
