Jack de Marseille, a pioneer of electronic music, has helped drive the emergence of the French electronic scene as a DJ, producer and head of the Wicked Music label. Since the late 1980s he has performed at legendary clubs and revered festivals such as Astropolis and Nuits Sonores, Awakenings, Timewarp, Sonar, Love Parade (Berlin) and Yinyang (Great Wall of China). He co-organised the "Atomix", the very first blazing rave parties in Marseille (1992), and he was even the first DJ to take part in the tour for Daft Punk's debut album. Open to a wide range of worlds, he has provided music for fashion shows dedicated to Paco Rabanne, Castelbajac and Jean-Paul Gaultier, and features on the soundtrack of the stage version of Trainspotting. The success of his sets earned him the title of best French DJ from the electronic music and culture magazines Coda and Trax. In the 2000s he entered the international Top 100 DJs ranking of the magazine Max. In 2015 he created the Jack in the Box festival
