Jimmy Sax

French musician Jimmy Sax performs on the stage of the Opera Berlioz at the Corum for a concert blending instrumental compositions and contemporary arrangements.

Originally from Marseille, Jimmy Sax became known through his solo performances where the alto saxophone takes center stage. His repertoire consists of original tracks and covers of pop, house, and electronic music standards, revisited with an acoustic and amplified approach.

On stage, the artist generally performs surrounded by musicians, combining rhythm sections and sometimes a string ensemble to give breadth to the arrangements. The set relies on a visual and sonic dynamic where the wind instrument interacts directly with electronic loops and percussion.

This date in Montpellier is aimed at fans of musical crossovers looking to discover an instrumental version of popular melodies. The Opera Berlioz offers a seated setting for this performance, suitable for listening to instrumental formations of this scale.
