Overview
Who hasn't seen the cult play "Le Dîner de cons", written by Francis Veber? As Anthony Joubert puts it: nobody can do better than Jacques Villeret in his field. But we can do it differently!
Anthony Joubert brings his own personal touch and offers you a slightly naïve François Pignon, in a staging that surprises the audience without betraying either the play or the text! Every Wednesday, Pierre Brochant and his friends hold a dinner of idiots.
The principle is simple: each participant brings an "idiot", and whichever guest stands out the most is declared the winner.
Tonight Pierre is happy, as he believes he has found the rare find: François Pignon, an accountant at the Ministry of Finance, passionate about matchstick scale models.
But what he doesn't know is that Pignon, ready to do anything to help, is a hopeless jinx, a master at setting off catastrophes... The meeting of two destinies that never should have crossed paths...
