Overview
Who has not seen the cult play "Le Dîner de cons", written by Francis Veber? As Anthony Joubert puts it: nobody can do better than Jacques Villeret in his field. But we can do it differently!
Anthony Joubert brings his own personal touch and offers you a slightly naïver François Pignon in a staging that surprises the audience without betraying either the play or the text! Every Wednesday, Pierre Brochant and his friends hold a dinner of fools.
The principle is simple: each participant brings a "fool", and whoever's guest stands out the most is declared the winner.
Tonight Pierre is delighted, believing he has found the pearl of rare birds: François Pignon, an accountant at the Ministry of Finance, passionate about matchstick model replicas.
What he does not know is that Pignon, ready to do anything to be helpful, is a dyed-in-the-wool jinx, a master at setting off catastrophes... The meeting of two destinies that never should have crossed paths...
