The failed plot of two maids who wanted to murder their mistress. They work for a couple belonging to the bourgeois class. They regularly indulge in a sordid role-playing game in which they practice killing their mistress. They resent her incessant insults, even though she promises to make them her heirs. One day, as they begin to set up their daily little theatre, the situation escalates. Claire plays the role of Madame and Solange plays her own character as well as that of her sister. The conversation is violent. Claire, in the role of the mistress, insults her sister. She believes her maids blame her for her husband's imprisonment.
