Overview
A sparkling, highly imaginative reworking of Charles Perrault's world, in which the heroes of our childhood fairy tales cross paths, chase one another and transform themselves within a completely crazy story.
Tom Thumb becomes Prince Charming, Cinderella becomes a princess thanks to Fairy Morgane… until the fearsome Olibrius abducts her and takes her to Bluebeard! Through a whirl of adventures and spells, our Cinderella even becomes Sleeping Beauty before finding her prince again.
Between hilarious situations, colourful characters, comic airs and sweeping romantic flights of lyricism, this lyrical fairy-tale extravaganza blends humour, tenderness and wonder.
Carried by the music of Offenbach, Félix Fourdrain and Massenet, it playfully brings together the spirit of operetta, the fantasy of the fairy tale and the lyricism of French opera. And since we are in a fairy tale, all ends well: they loved one another… and had lots of children!
