Jeanne the vengeful, Julie who dreams of love, Rose who discovers “the suffragettes” thanks to Louise, a militant writer. These four women share their fears, their joys, their hopes, their courage, and the solidarity of those known as “Les filles aux mains jaunes” (The Girls with Yellow Hands).

This gruelling work amidst the noise, dust, and heat is undoubtedly for them the beginning of emancipation…
