LES GARÇONS BOUCHERS - Tchao François

LES GARÇONS BOUCHERS FR - Chanson / Punk / Alternative Rock Tour A tribute to François Hadji-Lazaro, author, composer, concept creator and multi-instrumentalist, though not the singer of Les Garçons Bouchers.

On 16 September 2023, a tribute to François Hadji-Lazaro (who died on 25 February 2023) was paid at the Fête de l'Huma in Paris.

The show Tchao François brought together former members of Les Garçons Bouchers and Pigalle, including Pierrot Sapu, the emblematic singer of Les Garçons Bouchers. Following that emotional evening, the group decided to hit the road again to carry this farewell.

The repertoire digs into the group's deep-rooted punk core, mixed with François's most committed and protest-driven lyrics such as Guerre, Noir et Blanc, Super ce matin, j'ai rencontré Dieu, Sale Gueule, Les vieux, faudrait les jeter à la poubelle, all wrapped in the group's emblematic anthems such as La Bière, La Lambada on n'aime pas ça, Carnivore and Le Rap des Garçons Bouchers, marking the band's 12 years of career.

And, last but not litre, a tribute to François also features a few songs by Pigalle and Los Carayos. Pierre, François's son, has made a film tracing the group's journey, which will be screened during the concert, with François appearing as a guardian angel.
