Les Itinérantes

a cappella trio founded in Paris in 2017. The project was born from a fortuitous meeting between three singers originally brought together for a single concert. Coming from different backgrounds and repertoires, they nonetheless share a common desire for vocal exploration and an open approach to singing, outside of established categories. From the very first rehearsals, it became clear: the trio would become a space for research into sound, the voice, and what it reveals about our humanity. From early music to French chanson, via world music and sacred chants, Manon Cousin, Pauline Langlois de Swarte and Elodie Pont combine original arrangements and compositions to illustrate themes dear to them: women, nature, travel, the imagination.

TERRA MATER Programme

A figure of protection, a bearer of hope, a mother and a tutelary presence: in sacred traditions, the feminine occupies a central place in the relationship to the earth, to birth and to transmission, notably through the figure of Mary, often associated with light and the living world. A journey through time, bringing together different eras and traditions, from the visionary medieval composer Hildegard von Bingen to more contemporary figures such as Farnaz Modarresifar or Mariana Marrache, a 19th-century Syrian poet.
