Overview
Orishas is not merely a group. It is the most prestigious act to emerge from contemporary Cuban music. They sound like no one else, for they created a sound that did not exist: a fusion of rap with the soul of *son*, of the Afro-Cuban drum with urban lyricism.
” *Rolling Stone*, *Le Monde*, *Billboard*, *El País*—all agreed: Orishas changed history.
