Lluc Casares is back at 38Riv with one of Paris's most powerful rhythm sections. Expect fresh, swinging music, tradition and improvisation, and just good vibes. After two years in New York, where he trained with masters such as Wynton Marsalis and Kenny Washington, the Catalan saxophonist returned to Barcelona, his hometown, to build a brilliant career. There, he recorded four albums as a leader, founded The Changes label, and led ambitious projects such as the Barcelona Art Orchestra.
