Locura

Dance Concert Locura (meaning "madness" in Spanish) was born from a collaboration between Mourad Merzouki (choreographer of the Olympic Games opening ceremony) and Franck-Emmanuel Comte, building on Folia, a ballet with huge international success.

This Baroque hip-hop show has enchanted more than 200,000 spectators on European stages.

Conceived as a lighter form, dressed only in Yoann Tivoli's lighting design, Locura draws on Folia's key strengths: a singular visual and sonic poetry, a palette of strong emotions, and a wonderful chemistry between the dancers of Cie Käfig and the musicians of Le Concert de l'Hostel Dieu.
