is a new Finnish band formed by Joel Hokka, former singer of Blind Channel, and Pauli Rantasalmi, The Rasmus' long-standing guitarist for nearly 30 years
HOKKA
is currently preparing its debut album, focusing on dark and personal themes: pain, loss, revenge, love, vulnerability, and rebuilding. The central idea is to "find beauty in pain." Their first single, In the Darkness, offers a first taste of the album. Musically, HOKKA claims the heritage of Finnish rock from the early 2000s, a period notably marked by the international success of The Rasmus.
