Memento Floris

A sensory exhibition where painting, music, and perfume explore memory and the passage of time through flowers.

Through Memento Floris, visual artist François Farcy explores memory, the passage of time, and the traces left by the people who have marked our lives.

Born notably from memories of his grandmother and the flowers that accompanied his childhood, the exhibition transforms this intimate memory into a universal experience. Flowers become witnesses to time: they appear, blossom, then fade, just like our own memories.

Painting is at the heart of Memento Floris, but the experience extends beyond sight.

An original musical creation, specially composed for the project and released on vinyl in a limited edition of 100 copies, accompanies the exhibition, while an olfactory dimension awakens the link between scent and memory.

François Farcy thus imagines an exhibition to be seen, but also to be listened to and felt, inviting everyone to slow down and rediscover, through flowers, an emotion, a place, or the memory of a person.
