Monica

The Studio-Théâtre d'Asnières presents Monica, a contemporary theatre production performed by a company of young actresses.

This show belongs to the field of contemporary theatre and offers a textual and scenic exploration carried by Branwen Corbett, Abigaëlle Janssens-Rivallain, Ayse Kargili, Rosa Pradinas and Louise Saillard Rezaire. On stage, the dramatic writing unfolds through an ensemble effort attentive to relational dynamics and to the construction of the characters.

Audiences discover an artistic proposition that questions the forms of contemporary theatrical representation within the auditorium of the Studio-Théâtre d'Asnières. The staging favours restraint, leaving full room for the text and for the performers' interpretation, and so offers a distinctive take on contemporary dramatic writing across this run of performances.
