Overview
Monkeys on Mars at Bal Chavaux
Monkeys On Mars fuses two ultra-cosmic heavy rock projects. The sophisticated atmospheres of the French trio Mars Red Sky, carried by an ethereal voice and a rhythm section as thick as it is complex, meet the progressive breaks, hypnotic grooves and colossal riffs of the Swiss band Monkey3. Add to this their shared passion for science fiction, and you get a full interstellar voyage! Their self-titled EP was released on 17 October 2025 via Mrs Red Sound.
On stage, three bands will follow one another: Monkey3, Mars Red Sky and Monkeys On Mars. A set by Mars Red Sky with Monkey3 as guests, followed by a set by Monkey3 with Mars Red Sky as guests, followed by a set by Monkeys On Mars. The running order Mars Red Sky / Monkey3 may change depending on the date, but Monkeys On Mars will always close the evening. No interval.
