Overview
Welcomed into residency for its new project, Aqueles persists and signs in its desire to shake up the lines of Occitan polyphony by infusing it with a good dose of…
A breeze of music and humour will blow over the 2026 edition of the Nadalet, now a fixture of our calendar.
Fresh out of a week-long residency, the vocal trio Aqueles will present its new creation: Occitan paradise.
Drawing on the repertoire of the early twentieth century, they breathe into it a style that knocks their boater hats off.
Willing heirs to this songbook, they carry its lyrics and melodies with passion and delicacy.
Their arrangements offer an original and unprecedented sound within the current trend of "Occitan polyphonies".
