Overview
In Naïa's country, a king imposes silence. Singing, playing music, and celebrating become forbidden. When Naïa's mother is arrested, the young girl must flee her village. Armed with her clarinet, she crosses a border, meets astonishing characters, discovers other languages, other music, and other ways of living together. Her journey leads her to a travelling circus where decisions are made collectively, without a king or borders. Naïa finds refuge there, but also a new way of inhabiting the world, through music.
