Overview
In the land of Naïa, a king imposes silence. Singing, playing music and partying become forbidden.
When Naïa's mother is arrested, the young girl must flee her village. Carrying her clarinet, she crosses a border, meets astonishing characters, and discovers other languages, other music and other ways of living together.
Her journey leads her to a travelling circus where decisions are made collectively, without king or border. Naïa finds refuge there, but also a new way of inhabiting the world, through music.
Storyteller and musician: Nicolas Lescombe. Alchemist: Juliette Salmon. Fri 2 April, LA COUPOLE, LA COUPOLE, 2020.
Musical tale. Duration: 45 min. For all audiences from 7 years old. Limited capacity. Free seating.
