Neuf Voix - Live Performance

To celebrate the launch of the DSM Kei Ninomiya x G.H. Bass collaboration, Dover Street Market Paris and Studio Olympia present a live performance by Neuf Voix at DSMP.

Neuf Voix is the project of Italian composer and sound artist Elvio Seta. His practice brings together electronic composition, electroacoustic music and sound-space design, approaching sound not only as musical material but as a physical presence.

Central to his work is the relationship between sound and architecture: performances are conceived in response to the spaces in which they take place, turning speakers, distances and reverberation into compositional elements.

For this performance, Neuf Voix presents for the first time material from his forthcoming album, a significant new chapter in his work. The new work carries its attention to sound as matter into the physicality of analogue electronics, approached through a rigorous and minimal sensibility in which frequency, rhythm, silence and sound pressure become primary compositional elements.

The concert will be presented as a spatialised live performance through Acousmonium ODAE, a true orchestra of loudspeakers, in which different electronic materials are separated, projected and set in motion throughout the space, making the environment and the listener's position an integral part of the work.

First set: doors at 6.30pm, performance at 7pm
